Celebrities and paparazzi share a love/hate relationship. Photographers follow celebrities wherever they go ensuring that nothing in their life remains private. There have been many of celebrities clashing with paparazzi. Here are top 10 celebrity-paparazzi encounters.

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake – Back in 2004 when the couple were together, they got into a fight with photographers and Diaz stole the photographers camera and ran away with it.

Sean Penn – The Oscar winner is the king of paparazzi attacks. When the actor was shooting in China in 1986, he attacked a photographer and hung him by his ankles from the hotel balcony where he was staying. In 2009, again the actor was charged for attacking a photographer in Los Angeles and breaking camera.

Bjork – The singer attacked a journalist and tore his shirt upon her arrival at the New Zealand airport back in 2008. This was not the first time Bjork attacked a photographer. In 1996 she attacked a photographer at Bangkok airport and later apologized.

Britney Spears – No one can forget Britney Spears famous umbrella incident of 2007. The pop singer who was suffering from a breakdown after her divorce from Kevin Federline and was in and out of the rehab. She shaved her head and attacked the photographer’s car with an umbrella. She later apologized saying that she was preparing for a role in the movie.

Kayne West – In 2008, Kayne West and his assistant smashed a photographer's camera at the Los Angeles airport. Both were booked and West was sentenced to some community service.

Hugh Grant – The actor had a funny way of dealing with the paparazzi. In 2006, Hugh Grant attacked a photographer by throwing a tub of baked beans at him.

Miley Cyrus – This celebrity's clash with paparazzi is on the rise. The teen star attacked a paparazzi photographer defending her mom and then the next day she again attacked another photographer while leaving the gym.

Woody Harrelson – The actor had a clash with TMZ paparazzi in 2006 where he strangled the photographer and destroyed his camera and again had an encounter with a photographer in 2009 at New York airport.
