Celebrities are always at a risk of getting caught for their looks on the red carpet. Male movie stars also take efforts to look their best, no matter what the occasion is. Some succeed and some don’t. Here is a list of best and worst dressed male celebrities on the red carpet.
Best:
Justin Timberlake – The fashion icon brought his mother as a date at the 83rd Academy Awards. The actor, as always was best dressed male celebrity on the red carpet looking stunning in a Tom Ford suit.
Jake Gyllenhaal – The actor presented two awards with Amy Adams at the 2011 Academy Awards. Matched with his smart bow tie, Salvatore Ferragamo's made-to-measure tux fitted Gyllenhaal perfectly and the actor looked very smart in the formal wear.
Brad Pitt – Brad Pitt arrived on the red carpet of Golden Globes 2011 accompanied by the beautiful Angelina Jolie. Pitt looked very stylish in Tom Ford black suit paired with cool sunglasses.
Colin Firth – The Oscar winner won praise for his role in The King's Speech as well as his Oscar red carpet attire. Firth looked dashing in a classic black tux. Even with an eco-friendly suit, Firth managed to look great as well as made his contribution in saving the planet.
Worst:
Robert Downey Jr. - The actor was joined by his wife Susan Downey at the Oscar red carpet and wore a navy blue suit for the event. He went too far with his fashion by opting for a white tie with a white shirt.
Russell Brand – Russell Brand also failed to make his impression on the Oscar red carpet when he chose to look different by wearing a check shirt, Marc Jacobs navy blue suit and tight trousers.
Justin Bieber – The teen heartthrob tried to flaunt a grown up look at the Golden Globes 2011 but failed. He wore a three piece suit by D&G but paired it with sneakers, a total mismatch.
Matthew McConaughey – He arrived at the Oscars wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana suit along with his girlfriend Camila Alves. Though his suit was classy, his tanned skin was not adding that extra chic element in his personality.
