The beautiful Hollywood actresses walk the red carpet in their best and distinctive gowns. But some of the red carpet dresses are plain and boring and fail to create a fashion statement. Here is a list of worst red carpet dresses.
Charlize Theron, Oscar 2010 – Charlize Theron wore a violet color gown by Christian Dior. The dress was drawing attention to her chest and not her face. It was totally unflattering and definitely not a red carpet dress.
Kristen Stewart, MET Ball 2010 – The Twilight actress wore a black Chanel gown at the MET Ball 2010 which was totally disappointing and worst red carpet fashion. Taking chances with fashion is good but the dress raised questions on the fashion choice of the actress.
Whitney Port, MuchMusic Video Awards 2010 – Bright colors and prints are bold, but Whitney Port's colorful look was not suitable for red carpet.
Drew Barrymore, Screen Actors Guild Awards 2010 – The actress took a risk and chose to wear a navy blue gown by Monique Lhuillier. The shape was the gown was not appropriate, the make-up was not up to the mark and the fearless fashionista failed to impress on the red carpet.
Zoe Saldana, Oscars 2010 – She wore a strapless gown designed by Riccardo Tisci. The upper half of the dress was stylish but the ruffles at the bottom were totally disappointing.
Jane Goldman, BAFTA 2010 – Her emerald green dress totally clashed with her bright red hair. Trying to show off her curves, landed her in the list of worst red carpet dresses.
Britney Spears, Grammy 2010 – The pop singer showed up at the Grammys wearing a daring lace black dress by Dolce & Gabbana. The see-through dress looked tacky and was attention seeking. This was one of the worst designs by Dolce & Gabbana.
Daisy Lowe, Elle Style Awards – The Miu Miu dress paired with a black cardigan worn by the British model was very risky. Even though she managed to pull off her daring dress, it wasn't the best dress for red carpet.
Miley Cyrus, Oscars 2010 – The teen sensation invited unnecessary attention with her chic Jenny Packham dress on Hollywood's biggest night. The golden dress seemed too tight and was a total let down.
Nikki Reed, MTV Movie Awards – The Twilight star, dressed up too simple and casually for the awards. The Miu Miu dress was totally wrong for the occasion and not red carpet worthy.
