For Urban, he showed his appreciation by locking lips with the pavement with his wife, actress Nicole Kidman after that."Good Lord, it's quite surreal after all these years,” states Urban.
Getting his star took decades of tough work. Urban firstly arrived at Nashville in 1989 and also got refused repeatedly before finally finding his niche on Music Row. Urban thanked the town which has embraced him and helped him through many years. "So it will be Twenty years next season considering that I moved here, and I've had the complete lowest lows of my life as well as the total highest of highest of highs, all have happened in Nashville," said Urban.
Urban's songs have earned him five Academy of Country Music Awards, four Grammy's, and worldwide fame, as well as a lot of dedicated fans.
Lots of people from his fan club came on scene at 5:00 in the morning and travelled thousands of miles for any front row view of their beloved superstar.

One more proverbial face that has plainly earned his star of the Walk of Fame is country star "Whispering Bill" Anderson.
For near fifty years he's performed, written as well as remained in a consistently varying industry.
"I am thrilled to be a part of it after all these years, the one thing about the music business is that it is constantly changing so to say that you know where it's going to go, nobody knows that. The public will tell us where they want to go and we will follow," Anderson said.
Two artists from two sides of the world, both proving you'll be able to become part of Music City and the Walk of Fame.
"For anybody on the market that's from any little hamlet on the entire horizon who may have aspirations arrive at town it is absolutely doable and if some kid from a nowhere town inside the middle of Australia can do it, you totally can perform it to," said Urban.
