Johnny Depp provides the voice of a chameleon dealing with an identity crisis in the animated movie Rango. The movie distributed by Paramount Pictures is a fun movie for kids as well as adults. The movie also features voices of other actors who made the characters come to life like Isla Fisher, Ned Beatty, Abigail Breslin, Bill Nighy and Timothy Olyphant.

Directed by the Pirates of the Caribbean director, Gore Verbinski, Rango movie centers around a family pet chameleon, Lars (voiced by Johnny Depp) who gets stranded on the Mohave Desert.

With no water, he has to survive the hazards of the desert. He runs into Beans (Isla Fisher) who takes him to the old town of Dirt where many desert animals live. In the town, he presents himself as Rango, a brave and deadly hero of the West. The town needs a hero and so they appoint him as the new sheriff to investigate the water problem that the town is facing. After a series of action-packed events, Rango helps in solving the mystery surrounding the water crisis of the town. In doing so, he realizes his real potential and his true identity.

The movie was released on March 4, 2011. There is also a video game that was released based on the film for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS and Wii. Rango Blu-ray and DVD will be released on July 15, 2011 by Paramount Home Entertainment. The movie was a huge success; ranking number one at the box-office in its opening weekend and also received 89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Amazing animation, humor and Johnny Depp's perfect voice performance make Rango a fun filled and must see movie for all.
