A large number of students in the U.S. attend schools where they have no chance of learning and the schools only produce more drop-outs than graduates. Despite the huge amount of money spent on these schools, much improvement has not been made. The families of these children are determined to provide them adequate education. The film shows that charter schools are the best option for families with financial problems. The students apply to charter school and hope to get selected based on lottery system.
