The son of LA's, Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is the most prominent and respected media magnate who is absolutely happy for maintaining an aimless existence on the party scene-until and unless his father (Tom Wilkinson) passes way mysteriously, giving whole responsibility to Britt about his large media empire. Hitting an unlikely friendship with the most inventive and industrious employees of his father, Kato (Jay Chou) who was the dream of every one and a strong source of knowledge who used to teach new things every day, left this world for ever. Possibility he wanted to do meaningful things and wanted to discover new things in his each and every step that was cleared by the criminals.

 

Violating the existing law and order, Britt plays a role as the vigilante which is called The Green Hornet because he and Kato both strike the streets.
