'24 Hour Plays' in Los angeles

The 24 Hour Plays have turned into a yearly fixture of the Broadway sight bringing celebrities together and playwrights in a whole-day dramatic marathon to help charity. In June, the show will debut at Los Angeles with a roster of stars programmed to include Jennifer Aniston, Sam Rockwell, Eva Mendes, Rosie Perez and Zachary Levi.

Organizers supposed that the Los Angeles version of the 24 Hour Plays will took place June 18 at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica. The experience will begin the night prior to the show when six directors, six writers, 24 actors and other will come together at the Broad. Actors will come up with thoughts before the writers begin composing the plays, which would be completed.
The actors will then practice for 12 hours earlier performing the six new plays for live spectators on June 18. The show will help the Urban Arts Partnership, an organization that assists education of arts in under-served schools. As in New York, the 24 Hour Plays are supported by the luxury brand Montblanc.
Also listed to participate in the Los Angeles production are Seth Green, Nia Vardalos, Leslie Bibb and Kathy Najimy. The complete list of participating actors and playwrights will be announced shortly.
Aniston has participated in earlier versions of the 24 Hour Plays in New York, as have some of the participants of the Los Angeles version.
