On Wednesday, May 11, Hollywood headed to the French Riviera to attend the Cannes Film Festival. It kicked off with Woody Allen's latest romantic movie 'Midnight in Paris'. The opening movie, 'Midnight in Paris' was one of the must-see films at the festival.
Opening up the annual cinema celebration in the French Riviera, the stars of the movie hit the red carpet at Cannes for the movie's premiere. The movie stars Owen Wilson as a 21st century man who time-travels to 1920s Paris. It received lots of applause and big laughs from the infamously picky festival critics.
The movie, 'Midnight in Paris', features a star-studded cast including Adrien Brody, Rachel McAdams, Owen Wilson and Marion Cotillard. It is a romantic comedy about a family traveling to the French capital for business.
Lovely actress Rachel McAdams was the center of attention at the premiere. She really made an impact on the red carpet with a sensational Marchesa Fall 2011 gown. The embroidered red silk organza illusion gown with tulle ruffle skirt was both dramatic as well as romantic. A light pair of strappy sandals perfectly complimented Rachel's beauty.
Stars on hand for premiere of the movie at prestigious festival were Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Adrien Brody, Uma Thurman, Jude Law, Robert DeNiro, Jerry Schatberg, Antonio Banderas, Faye Dunaway, Salma Hayek, Melanie Griffitth, Francois Pinault, and Michael Sheen ('Aro' in 'The Twilight Saga').
