The World premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean
On May 7, 2011, Penelope Cruz, Johnny Depp, and a plethora of stars descended on California's Disneyland Park for the world premiere of 'Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides'. It was a star-studded affair where many celebrities were present to attend the premiere.

Walking down a spotless black carpet which covered the usually bustling Main Street U.S.A., dressed in his finest swashbuckling garb, Mickey Mouse greeted the celebrities. Before the arrival of the celebrities, fans were already present on the black carpet waiting to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars. Most of the celebrities had made their way into Frontierland by 8:30 p.m., taking their seats to enjoy the premiere of "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."

Johnny Depp, who returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow was a hit on the red carpet, who came along with other stars Penelope Cruz, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, and Geoffrey Rush. The whole main cast and unit of the movie were present at the red carpet. The other big stars who came to the premiere were producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Teri Hatcher, Cuba Gooding Jr., Orlando Bloom, and Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones.

As Penelope Cruz arrived at premiere, all the eyes were on her stunning feathered Marchesa dress and her perfect hourglass figure. She looked incredible in her beautiful embroidered Marchesa floor length gown with classic smokey make up and stunning earrings. Her co-star Johnny Depp was on signature quirky form. He wore his usual strange mixture of clothing, a black shirt with a retro black and white jacket and brothel creeper shoes, with his trademark tinted sunglasses.

The film was shown in 3-D in an immense open-air theater on a floating island in the Rivers of America. The cost of a ticket to watch movie was $1000. The entire guests were treated with some lavish food and had a great time. They seemed to have enjoyed the thrilling of Jack Sparrow.

The event was indeed a hit with the movie 'Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides' being Awesome and the masses that were present was Double Awesome!
