Sheldon is easily the most awkward with the four. A condescending purist of strict habit, he is both difficult to assist with and hard to place anything that resembles. He and Penny fight constantly a lot more than anyone on the show because she actually is the most down-to-earth and that he is the most removed. This does not bother him, however, while he does not usually display curiosities about girls unless he finds them intellectually add up to him (that they rarely does).
Leonard, Sheldon’s roommate, is more approachable and more interested in a lot of people than Sheldon is. While being less uncomfortable, he still finds it tough to attract beautiful lady like Penny, who dated him for a short time in the first season but couldn’t make it work. Leonard constantly shows a kind spirit though, and will generally help a buddy short of funds if he can.
Rajesh is less confident, than Leonard. He is able to barely speak directly to a woman, but he’ll be the second person to guess what color her underwear is. Rajesh and Howard like participating in more lecherous conversations and activities. But, they can’t resist experiencing other “nerdcore” activities such as the Renaissance Faire and undetectable laser chess.
Howard keeps the debauchery going, even if ironic; he still lives along with his loud mother (which gives hilariously awkward moments when he brings women into his bedroom). Second to Penny, he's the least tolerable to Sheldon. Though he is very intelligent, he also has a poor feeling of priorities, which puts him in danger when he must maintain the Mars Rover and mask for his damages.
Finally, Penny will be the attractive neighbor who lives alone, works as a waitress, and finds pleasing friendship (albeit sometimes awkward) in the four men. While they don’t speak exactly the same language, guide each other if it can care for one another. At some time they assist her increase productivity to have an independent craft business, and she doesn't determine what is being conducted, but she actually is thankful for that help.
