Two and a Half Men is a sitcom on American television created by Lee Aronsohn and Chuck Lorre which centers on Charlie, a bachelor, whose relaxed lifestyle is disturbed when his just separated brother Alan shifts in, along with Jake, his son.

The series premiered in the United States on CBS on 22 September, 2003.

It originally premiered in South Africa on M-Net on 2 March 2005.

The sitcom was premiered on Universal Channel at 21h00 on Tuesday 10 August 2010. Double episode aired continuously. There are twenty four episodes in the season first.

This show is a comedy about men, dating, mothers, women, single parenthood, divorce, surrogate families, money, sibling relations and, most significantly, love.

More specifically, it's depend on the lives of two brothers, one brother's son, and the various women who surround them.

Charlie Harper is a prosperous bachelor with a home at the beach, a Mercedes in the garage as well as a simple way with women. His Malibu casual lifestyle is interrupted when his Alan, tightly wound brother, and Jake, Alan's son, come to stay with him.

Confusing matters added as Charlie and Alan's egotistic, Evelyn, emotionally- toxic mother, Alan's deeply anxious ex-wife, Judith; Charlie's overbearing, unrepentantly Berta, blue-collar housekeeper; and Charlie's stalker-neighbor Rose, whom he once had a fling with.

Although the difficulties of their lives and their own stressed relationship, Alan and Charlie have one thing in general - they both love Jake and wish what's best for him.

As a conclusion, they manage to create a little family unit which promises to make each of them a better man.
